James Allen Explorer app for iPhone and iPad

A fast and easy to use one stop location of the best of every country. It’s put together by an explorer for explorers.  It’s what I use to plan my trips. I’ve now opened it up to all explorers to use. This app is for people who want to see and experience the best of the World.

To make it even faster at a glance of the map to decide where to go, each location is colour categorised as either indigenous, nature and man made.

Indigenous sites covers the best rock art, experiences and places of significant indigenous history. 

Nature sites covers the best places to see certain animals, the best beaches, coastlines, geological formations, islands, deserts, mountains, hot springs, trees, waterfalls, wildflowers, parks, sunrises and sunsets, national parks, marine parks and much more.

Man made sites covers the best places in the Wolrd for man made activities from walking, hiking, surfing, swimming, free diving,snorkelling, scuba diving, skiing, canoeing, rock climbing, mountain climbing, canyoning, birdwatching, cycling, dirt biking, 4WD, cruises, horse riding, hot air ballooning, photographing, skydiving, SUP, wineries, museums, architecture, playgrounds, towns, temples, UNESCO sites, space research, unique hotels, unique food locations, zoos and much more.

Where I think kids would particularly enjoy a location I’ve highlighted those too with a separate “kids” icon.

Where multiple explorers I trust say this place or thing is the best in that country for that category I’ve highlighted these “best of best”. Where I think that the activity is not to be missed as a World standard I’ve highlighted these “JA best”.

Each location is geolocated with photos, description, why it’s famous.  I’ve developed a simple route planner to optimise travel time between activities. This is being developed to give you optimised trip plans based on your personal preferences of things you like to do.

Identifying your favourites on the map or via a list is simple and can be saved in your personal member area.

This is a new app with many features being added weekly.
